Concentricity testing devices are used to determine the concentricity and axial runout of rotationally symmetrical workpieces or shafts.
The tailstocks are guided and clamped on a measuring table made of durable granite in a steel T-slot. The shafts (workpieces) are clamped and released via a movable center point on the right tailstock, operated by a hand lever. The concentricity test between centering points ensures the highest possible accuracy. Dial indicators or lever gauges are mounted on the measuring stand and positioned on the workpiece. This allows precise deviations in radial and axial run-out to be determined. Optionally, several measuring stands can be clamped on one device in the T-slot.
